Programme Introduction

The Advanced Diploma program develops students in their understanding of the business in relation to the hospitality and resort industry. As a student, you will gain better overview of the industry and have sound resort specialization skills such as event management and service standards in the resort industry. Knowledge provided by this course will better groom students for entry level supervisory or management positions in the integrated resort and hospitality industry.

Our Advanced Diploma provides you an option to progress on to our Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Resort Management and further to pursue the Master degree in International Business awarded by Coventry University, UK.


Course Structure

Course Structure Industrial Attachments are optional portions of the course that may be attempted upon completion of the programme. These are not a requirement to graduate.
Course participants who successfully complete this course may have industrial attachments within Singapore. Attachments are subject to availability, English qualifications, academic qualifications, interviews, and final acceptance by the respective employers. Attachments may also be paid/unpaid. Eligible students in their final term should approach Student Welfare for more details.

Advanced Diploma Programme Entry Requirements

Applicants to be considered for the Diploma programme must normally have:

  • Related Business Diploma from Auston Institute of Management & Technology, or
  • Related Business Diploma from recognised institutions.
  • Professional Certificate from recognised institutions.

Exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.

Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum TOEFL 213 by computer/550 by paper, IELTS 6.0, completion of AIMT English for Foreign Students programme or equivalent.

Appliants must be 18 years or older.

Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.

  • 2 Passport-Sized Photographs

  • Certified True Copies of Certificates and Transcripts

  • Copy of NRIC or Passport

  • Non-Refundable Registration Fee and Relevant Fees according to the latest Fees Schedule
