It demonstrates the application of behavioural science within the workplace and emphasises the role of management as a core integrating activity.

  Enables students to develop an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of supply chain management (SCM). It also describes a range of practical and effective measures for competitive supply chain management. Students will also develop an understanding of the wider implications of SCM on society, the environment, and effects of globalization.

  It seeks to provide an appreciation of the fundamentals, nature and scope of current and emerging technologies. It explores the fundamental characteristics of contemporary technologies and their position and impact in the market place as well as society. The students will have an appreciation of the factors considered when developing and bringing technologies to the general population domain.

  This subject extends the knowledge of accounting by introducing the tools commonly used in management accounting and demonstrating their application in a decision making context. The sources, acquisition, and deployment of financial resources in a business and methods for comparative evaluation of financial performance are presented.

  This module aims to provide the designer with an integrated approach to engineering materials, product manufacture and manufacturing systems. To develop an understanding of material behaviour in the manufacturing process and its influence on the design process as well as to consider some aspects of how design affects production processes and product costing.

Advanced Diploma Programme Entry Requirements

Applicants to be considered for the Advanced Diploma programme must normally hold:

• Related Engineering Business Management Diploma from Auston Institute of Management, or
• Related Engineering or Information Technology Diploma from recognised institutions.
• Professional Certificate from recognized institutions.

Notes:

Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.

Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR B2, Anglia Preparatory English Course Advanced Level or equivalent.

Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
