Programme Introduction

Electronic and Electrical Engineering create systems which sense, transmit and process information, and generate and apply electrical power. Their careers are both financially and intellectually rewarding.

The implementation of ideas through new products, systems and services is the essence of engineering as a socially responsible profession. The rapid changes in electrical, electronic and computer technology and the diversity of applications require broad educational background and a lifelong commitment to learn new and specialized information.

The programme allows the students to successfully acquire key technical proficiency and knowledge of their industries. This programme is designed to teach the principles of engineering in both electrical and electronics.

Our Advanced Diploma provides you an option to progress on to the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Networking and Communications Technology or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Engineering Business Management and further to pursue the Master Degree in Engineering Business Management awarded by Coventry University, UK.

Advanced Diploma Programme Entry Requirements

Applicants to be considered for the Advanced Diploma programme must normally hold:

  • Related Computers, Electronics and Communications Diploma from Auston Institute of Management, or
  • Related Electrical and Electronic Engineering Diploma from recognised institutions.
  • Professional Certificate from recognized institutions.

Notes:

Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.

Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR B2, Anglia Preparatory English Course Advanced Level or equivalent.

Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
