It will further the development of business and inter-personal skills, including project planning and management skills, and provide an understanding of the human aspects of the management of change.

Adopts a practical approach to data management and operational research. It introduces techniques, methods for identifying data sources, for searching efficiently, and for the collection, classification, representation, interpretation and analysis of data retrieved. Some techniques and applications associated with a broad range of areas of operational research (OR) and logistics are covered.

Aims to provide an understanding of the practical and professional issues associated with information management and organisational behaviour. It demonstrates the application of behavioural science within the workplace, relating to information management, and it emphasises the role of management as a core integrating activity. It also provide an understanding of the human aspects of the management of change.

It enables the development of an understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of supply chain management (SCM). The module will also describe a range of practical and effective measures for competitive supply chain management. It seeks to provide the fundamentals, nature and scope of current and emerging technologies. It explores the fundamental characteristics of contemporary technologies and their position and impact in the market place as well as society.

Develops knowledge of distribution management techniques, with a focus on the movement of goods and services from the distribution side of the supply chain. It examines the role of distribution through warehouse and transport management and its effect on the control of operations, systems design, channels of distribution and information flow from the warehouse to the final customer.

Advanced Diploma Programme Entry Requirements
Applicants to be considered for the Advanced Diploma programme must normally hold:
- Related Engineering Business Management Diploma from Auston Institute of Management, or
- Related Logistics and Supply Chain Diploma from recognised institutions.
- Professional Certificate from recognized institutions.
Notes:
Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR B2, Anglia Preparatory English Course Advanced Level or equivalent.
Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
