Programme Introduction
The undergraduate degree program is designed to prepare students with the requisite knowledge, skills, and values to effectively apply various business principles and tools in an organizational setting. The course is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practical application, while examining the areas of critical thinking and decision-making, entrepreneurship, new venture management as well as creativity and innovation. Students are required to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the undergraduate business curricula through an integrated topics course. The program emphasizes the development of skills in operating standards, enterprise analysis and planning, suitable techniques employment. Upon completion of this program students will possess the knowledge and skills needed to manage business enterprises for a sustainable future.

This module aims to provide an opportunity to apply and develop research skills and to extend their knowledge, understanding and critical faculties to a specialist area of interest. The student will choose an academic area related to their programme of study, and apply their independent learning skills to research this area in some significant depth.

It designed to give students an appreciation of how to carry out business research projects; how to structure them; what methods exist to gather and analyse data and how to present their results. An important aspect of this module is the emphasis on developing students' ability to become independent learners, and to reflect on, and evaluate the research processes that they adopt.

The aim of the module is to provide students with an understanding of strategic decision making. To this end, the module critically examines techniques available to companies aiming to develop sustainable competitive advantage in their industry.
- 322BSS Entrepreneurship--- 322BSS Entrepreneurship ---
Provide understanding of the theory and practice of entrepreneurship in a range of organisational contexts. It also encourages students to develop a critical appreciation of current academic debates on 'entrepreneurship' as well as research evidence on the application of this and other closely related concepts, such as 'intrapreneurship' and 'entrepreneurial'.

This course aims to enable students to develop a business plan for a new business venture; the course ends with the submission of the completed plan to a panel representing bank managers and venture capitalists, with an in-depth interview in which the case for funding is assessed in detail.

As a crucial dimension of business, students are provided with a theoretical framework, which allows them to look at innovation in both a micro and macro context. Radical, incremental, product and process innovation are all introduced to provide a theoretical underpinning to the course, but these are enriched by being placed in a long-term framework.

Degree Programme Entry Requirements
Applicants to be considered for the Bachelor Degree programme must normally hold:
- Related Business & Enterprise Management Advanced Diploma from Auston Institute of Management, or
- Polytechnic Related Business Diploma, or
- Related Business Diploma and Advanced Diploma from recognised institutions
- Professional Certificate from recognized institutions.
Notes:
Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR C1, Anglia Preparatory English Course Proficiency Level or equivalent.
Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
