Programme Introduction
How do you build a website to expand your market? What is involved in automating your purchase and sales ledgers? What value can an intranet be to your company? Should you outsource computing requirements? Can you increase customer satisfaction using IT? All these questions are about improving the competitive advantage of a business organisation and all depend upon the effective deployment of the right kind of information technology.
This programme provides the skills and knowledge for using IT to solve business problems. You will learn business skills, develop an understanding of management and finance, and appreciate the need for strategic thinking. Your IT knowledge will include website design, database implementation, information systems development and Internet technology. Integrative study focuses on key topics such as customer relationship management, knowledge management, business process re-engineering and the use of decision support systems. You may explore IT applications in marketing, accounting and finance, personnel management or international business.
Our Bachelor degree provides you an option to progress on to our Master degree in Information Technology Management or Engineering Business Management awarded by Coventry University, UK.

Introduces project management and provides a foundation for developing project skills, both human and technical, that will enable them to work on a variety of projects, including those with a computer or knowledge based element. Encouragement from the outset to see the role of the project manager within the broader perspective of strategic business management, understanding where projects come from and why they are selected.

Enables to develop theoretical understanding and practical skills in relation to the analysis, design and utilization of information systems in different application environments. In particular, students will develop an understanding of systems and technologies from a user/client perspective.
- 310KM M-Commerce Applications--- 310KM M-Commerce Applications ---
It provides a basis for advising an organization on the feasibility of its mobile commerce strategy. An appreciation of the nature and scope of mobile commerce applications will be sought. Mobile commerce terminology, technical issues and business context will be considered. Strategies, characteristics and techniques for developing and deploying mobile commerce applications are explored.

The aim of the module is to provide students with an understanding of strategic decision making and a capability to contribute to the process of business strategy making. The module critically examines techniques available to companies aiming to develop sustainable competitive advantage in their industry.
- 395CT Enterprise System Development--- 395CT Enterprise System Development ---
Enterprise systems are large-scale systems that encompass and integrate the functionality of the various components of an enterprise. The module will examine typical enterprise structure in terms of functional areas and workflow and show how these can be mapped on enterprise architecture. Industry-standard application software for developing enterprise systems will be studied.

It serves as the main vehicle for integration of the various programme modules and provides a focus for practical application of the knowledge gained on the programme. Projects are expected to be a substantial practical problem-solving exercise or a research study that require demonstrating skills in organization, time-management, investigation and communication.

Degree Programme Entry Requirements
Applicants to be considered for the Bachelor Degree programme must normally hold:
- Related Business Information Technology Advanced Diploma from Auston Institute of Management, or
- Polytechnic Related Business or Information Technology Diploma, or
- Related Business or Information Technology Diploma and Advanced Diploma from recognized institutions
- Professional Certificate from recognized institutions.
Notes:
Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR C1 , Anglia Preparatory English Course Proficiency Level or equivalent.
Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
