Programme Introduction
Computers, Electronics and Communications drives the modern world, touching all aspects of our lives. It is the technology that drives the modern industrial era by creating electronic devices and systems for sensing, transmitting and processing information, and electrical machines and systems for generating, controlling and applying power.
This course introduces students to the concepts, practices and theories, in engineering specifically in electronics and communications areas. Moreover, this course offers a broad-based education in Electronics Technology. It combines lectures in the essential technical subjects together with an emphasis on putting theory into practice.
The Diploma course aims to develop highly-skilled engineers who can take their place as progressive and dynamic professionals in the fast growing manufacturing, electrical and electronic industry. The key characteristics of these graduates will be their technical competency, strong skills in numeracy, computer literacy, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, strategic planning and communication skills.
Our Diploma provides you an option to progress on to our Advanced Diploma programmes and further to pursue the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Networking & Communications Technology or Bachelor of Science and Master degree in Engineering Business Management awarded by Coventry University, UK.

Diploma Programme Entry Requirements
Applicants to be considered for the Diploma programme must normally have:
- Foundation Programme
- GCE 'A' Level, or
- Senior high school, or
- Higher NITEC, or
- International Baccalaureate, or
- 12 years of formal education (subject to evaluation)
Notes:
Applicants must normally be 17 years or older
Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR B2 (e.g. IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 650, Anglia Advanced Level).
Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.
