Programme Introduction

If you enjoy challenges and you are good at solving problems, then Computing and Networking is the subject for you. This programme provides a solid foundation for integrating computing principles and advancements within a vast array of career options.

The Diploma program focuses more on the technical aspects of computer communications and networks. Aspects of building, connecting, managing and delivering network services will be covered. As a student, you will study the fundamental areas of computing.

Our Diploma provides you an option to progress on to our Advanced Diploma programme in Computing and Networking and further to pursue the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science or Network and Mobile Computing or Business Information Technology as well as Master degree in IT Management awarded by Coventry University, UK.

Diploma Programme Entry Requirements

Applicants to be considered for the Diploma programme must normally have:

  • Foundation Programme
  • GCE 'A' Level, or
  • Senior high school, or
  • Higher NITEC, or
  • International Baccalaureate, or
  • 12 years of formal education (subject to evaluation)

Notes:

Applicants must normally be 17 years or older

Mature candidates (>25 yrs) and exceptions to the above will be considered on an individual basis.

Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve an English Language Proficiency of CEFR B2 (e.g. IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 650, Anglia Advanced Level).

Admission to various entry levels is subject to final approval from the awarding institution/university.

  • Copy of NRIC or Passport

  • Non-Refundable Registration Fee and Relevant Fees according to the latest Fees Schedule
