Transfer / Withdrawal Policy
Auston adopts the following work flow for transfers and withdrawals:
TRANSFER TO ANOTHER SCHOOL
Students who wish to transfer school may do so by ensuring all fees are paid, and completing a Withdrawal from All Studies Form.
The student will be informed of the withdrawal and will be advised to proceed with their application at another school.
As part of ICA requirements, Student Service shall also issue past attendance records and exam results to students who are enrolled in another course in another PEI. This will be done via ICA Solar system.
An administrative fee of $100 applies and is subject to prevailing GST.
WITHDRAWAL FROM COURSE
Subject to clause 9 of the CPE PEI-student contract, the student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course by giving written notice to the
Original copy of Withdrawal from All Studies form with supporting documents will be given to Registrar to withdraw the student from the SIS system.
Upon successful withdrawal, students must first sign the contract termination page in the CPE PEI-Student Contract. They will then surrender the student pass and Student Service Executive will make a copy of the passport (if needed) together with the original student pass to proceed with cancellation. Student will also return the Auston Student Card.
Student services shall cancel the Student Pass.
After 48 hours, social visit pass will be available for student’s collection. Student Services shall contact the student for collection.
A student who has withdrawn may reapply at a later date, subject to any relevant immigration restrictions that may apply. Any such re-application will be considered through the normal application processes.

TRANSFER OF COURSE
Students who meet the entry criteria for alternative courses may transfer courses at any time by completing the Transfer of Course Forms.
The request shall be forwarded to the Academic department for approval.
Upon approval, an academic evaluation will be performed by the Registrar and re-submitted to Academics for approval
For Student Pass holders, necessary documents need to be submitted to ICA for change of Student Pass. Please approach Front Desk to do so.
Upon ICA’s approval of student pass, the student shall be required to sign a new student contract and terminate the original contract.The registrar shall also makes changes to the information system and update the following records:
- Soft copies of the transfer records in the P-file drive
- Transfer/ withdraw records

TIMEFRAME FOR ASSESSING
Auston Institute shall assess and reply to any request for transfer/ withdrawal within 7 working days.
